Mrs. Theresa Owens-Blake is a native Kentuckian, born and raised in Louisville, where she attended St. Athanasius Grade School and Moore High School. She has been teaching 24 years and has won three science grants. She also has earned her master of catechesis from the Archdiocese of Louisville. Mrs. Owens-Blake and her husband Dan have three children. The family are members of the parish. In her off time, Mrs. Owens-Blake enjoys playing the role of "Soccer Mom", watching her children play soccer.
Homework:
Water bottles are allowed in class. Please bring them with water already in them. For those interested in checking on the reading level of written work, I have posted the following directions: Ms. Lauder will offer the homework program for those interested on Mondays- Thursdays. The cost is $5. She gives them a quiet place to work on homework and gives guidance. You may contact her through her website if you are interested.
Science: Try drying half of your hair with the hot setting on the hairdryer and the other half on the cold setting. Which dries faster?

I will be posting additional information to this website throughout the year, including homework assignments, important dates, reminders, newsletters, and other miscellaneous items of interest. I will be communicating through your child when important things have been put on the page. I envision that this website will become a primary means of communication and a valuable resource for both you and your child!
