Mrs. Tammy Herbert is a native Kentuckian. She attended Sts. Simon and Jude and Holy Rosary Academy. She received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Spalding University in School Library Mediaship. She has been teaching for eightteen years, all of those at St. Gabriel, with grades K-8 in the Library. Mrs. Herbert serves on the Jefferson County School Media Association Board and is a recipient of a Providian Teacher Award. She was named Jefferson County School Media Association Librarian of the Year in 2004.
Mrs. Herbert is married and has one married daughter
Shannon, who is 34. She also has two granddogs Tess and Roxie. She is a
member of St. Gabriel Parish and enjoys gardening, reading, quilting
and decorating.
