The St. Gabriel Child Care presently consists of four programs:
1. After School Care The ASC is offered to students in kindergarten through 6th grade. The program is open from 2:45 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. or 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. A daily set fee is charged and there is no reduction for early pick-up. Please read carefully the handbook for more details.
2. Full Day Care Full Day Care is offered on special days during the school year from 7:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. Refer to the enclosed Full Day Care schedule for the specific days offered. Care is also offered on 11:00 A.M. early dismissal days. A few weeks prior, information concerning 11:00 A.M. dismissal days will be available to each family registered with SGCC. Advance registration is required.
3. Summer Care Summer Care is offered to SGCC students who have not yet entered 6th grade. It is available for full time only and is offered first to those who attended the previous year, including siblings entering St. Gabriel Kindergarten. Space is limited. Information will be available at the ASC sign-out table in February.
4. Pre-Kindergarten Pre-Kindergarten includes both a full-day and half-day program and is available full time only. It is offered first to those whose brothers and/or sisters have registered with St. Gabriel Child Care. Children are then accepted according to the length of their parents’ active participation in St. Gabriel Church. The Pre-Kindergarten operates only on those days when St. Gabriel School is in session. Children must be 4 years old by October 1 in order to register for the fall school year. Limited space is available. Information will be available in the school newsletter and the church bulletin in January for next school year.
