Biography:

    Mrs. Suzanne Fulk was born and raised in Kentucky.  She attended Holy Cross Elementary School, in Holy Cross, and St. Francis of Assisi High School, in Loretto. She received her B.A. from the University of Kentucky, an M.A. from Eastern Kentucky University, and an M.A.T. from Spalding University. She has been teaching for thirty years, twenty five of those at St. Gabriel, first as a Kindergarten teacher and currently reigns as the 7th and 8th grade Science “Queen”. Mrs. Fulk is involved with the Science Olympiad , the Kentucky Science Teacher Association, and the National Science Teacher Association. She has won the “National Science Teaching Award” for her innovations in classroom teaching and was named the “Walmart Teacher of the Year”. She has also won many grants for everything from chemicals to dissecting videos.  She started the Quick Recall/Academic teams many years ago here at St. G.

    Mrs. Fulk is a widow with one child, Robert, age 31, and a daughter-in-law, Natalie, 30.  She has a grand-daughter, Brigid Rose, 5 years old.  Her  grandson, Atticus Stephen James , was 3 in July. Her son is a middle school principal  and her daughter-in-law teaches at a Montessori preschool.Mrs. Fulk is a member of St. Gabriel Parish.  In her spare time Mrs. Fulk enjoys quilting and reading but is found glued to the TV during baseball season (Go CUBS!) in addition to being a "true blue" UK fan.  As her students will attest, she has a strong liking for her idol, Einstein.  True to her calling, says Mrs. Fulk, “Science Rules!!

HOMEWORK:

Homework is available online as a courtesy and is given to students in class.   Students are responsible for homework even if it is not listed on the web.

Parents, 

Just a reminder . . . .when you log on to Power School to check your child’s grades, please remember to do so as YOU and NOT as your child.    If you have misplaced your personal log-in information contact Mrs. Kremer at skremer@stgabriel.net .  She will be happy to forward that information to you.  Thanks for your cooperation and support in educating your child.

Homework and class work

All homework must be turned in at class time for credit. Any paper without a name will be treated as a missing assignment. Students are not permitted to return to their homerooms for forgotten homework, books or supplies.

Long-term projects must be turned in on the date due to receive full credit. No exceptions will be made for absences, broken printers etc. Late assignments will be given a deduction of 20% for the first day late, 40% for the second day and no credit after three days.

****** Rollercoasters must be picked up no later than   May 17th!!!!

Graduation Mass, Awards and Brunch:  Monday, May 21st 8:15 a.m.
