April 10-11: Bake Sale! Bring in at least 1 dozen individually wrapped baked goods to earn a uniform break on April 12. Items will be sold for .25-.50.
April 12: Uniform Break for Bake Sale Wear your favorite shirt with jeans or uniform shorts, pants or skirt.
April 18: Celebrate America Wear a red, white or blue shirt with uniform skirt, uniform shorts, or uniform pants.
April 26: Beach Day! Wear a favorite top with jeans, capris or uniform shorts. Bring a beach towel, sunglasses and hat for lunch outside. Students can wear sandals or flip-flops but remember to wear tennis shoes for PE. All other uniform break policies must be followed.
March 19: $1 Blast from the Past Uniform Break Dig out that old poodle skirt, leg warmers, or bell bottoms. All uniform break policies must be followed.
February 1: Pep Rally and Uniform Break Student appreciation day! Wear a favorite shirt and jeans or uniform pants or skirt. All other uniform break policies must be followed.
February 26: $1 Mix Match Day Uniform Break Students may wear jeans and crazy shirts, socks, shoes and hats. All other uniform break policies must be followed.

Student Council collected $1,055.59 for the Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy victims. Your generosity is amazing and very much appreciated.
Wow! What an overwhelming response! We collected over 7500 cans this year. The winning homeroom is Jennifer Miller’s 2nd grade!!!!! Her class collected 1601 items. That is an average of 64 cans per student! Thanks to all who participated. Fern Creek Highview United Ministries will be very thankful.

As we head into the Thanksgiving season, let us remember the gifts that we have. Let us also remember those who are less fortunate that cannot feed their families and those who go to bed hungry at night. To help those people, student council is sponsoring a can food drive to benefit the Fern Creek/Highview Ministries. All food collected will be given to FCHM and will be given to people in the Fern Creek/Highview area.
November 5-16: Canned Good Collection to benefit Fern Creek/Highview Ministries. Bring in 10 cans and earn a uniform break.
November 27: Uniform Break for Canned Food Drive Wear a favorite shirt with jeans or uniform pants or skirts. All other uniform break policies must be followed.
October 12: $1 Wear Pink! Breast Cancer Awareness Uniform Break. Bring in a donation and wear a pink shirt, socks, ribbon or tie with your favorite jeans or uniform pants or skirt. All other uniform break policies must be followed. All donations will benefit Breast Cancer.
October 17-18 .50 Lollipop sale! Limit 4 the first day.
September 28: Uniform Break! Student Council is sponsoring the first uniform break of the year. Pay $1 and wear your favorite team shirt with jeans, capris, or uniform shorts. All other uniform break policies must be followed. All monies collected throughout the year by the Student Council goes toward charities that the students choose, tuition grants given to 8th grade graduates and a gift to the school.
