  • Student Council raised $421.00 for the 1.00 uniform break on Dec. 7

  • Check out the Studernt Council delivering over 6000 cans of food the the Fern Creek Highview United Ministries. The food was collected from the student body during the annual foid drive held during the week of Thanksgiving. Read the following lette we received as a follow-up!
  • Ms. Huelsman,
My name is Tommy Russell and my wife Mary and I represent SAINT GABRIEL on the Board of Directors at the Fern Creek/Highview Ministries. We wanted to personally thank the school for what they did for the Ministries. When I walked into the building and saw all that food I was astonished. I was very proud to know that we were a member of ST. GABRIEL PARISH. The shelves have been pretty bare looking for awhile. With the economy has it has been, the food goes out as fast as it comes in. I know the LORD is looking down on the ST. GABRIEL SCHOOL and saying WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANTS. Thanks again for leading such a wonderful school.

  • Thank you for your great participation in the September and October $1 dress downs days.  In November, Student Council has 2 activities planned.  November 14-22 we will have our annual canned goods food drive.  This collection will benefit the Fern Creek Highview Ministries and the food will be given to families in our area who are in need.  We are asking each family to take some time and thank God for their blessings and think of those who are hungry.  Student Council would greatly appreciate 3 cans of food per family.
  • St. Gabriel Student Council is a service based organization.  We have leaders on the board from junior high to lead our school community in the right direction.  They will promote fund raising for our school to help charities.  They will sponsor community service activities such as canned food drives.  Student Council will keep the students and teachers informed about their activities.

Please remember our newly elected officers and board in your prayers for a successful year.
