Alumni News Updates for 2008-2009:

Mercy senior Rachel Dever, pictured below, was recently named a National Merit Semi-Finalist by the National Merit Scholarship Program.

After graduating St. G in 2000, Meghan Poole went on to Fern Creek High School and then Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, where she graduated in May 2008, with a B.S. in cell and molecular biology. After graduation she accepted a commission as an officer in the United States Navy and is currently in flight school in Pensacola, FL. When she finishes flight school, she will be a naval flight officer, or NFO (picture Goose in Top Gun, that’s what she's going to be doing). She also recently got engaged to William Walker III of Metaire, LA. He is also in Navy flight school, and is going to be a pilot.

Melissa Schroeder, class of 1990, asked if there are plans for any type of alumni reunion? She says she keeps running into old classmates and they talk about how there is a need for a reunion. Anyone interested?
