Introduction
The Korean War Memorial reminds us of all of the sacrifices the brave men and women of the armed forces made during the Korean war.Here we can show our gratitude for their war efforts. This memorial reminds us 
that freedom is not free.

Over 50,000 American soldiers were killed during the Korean war.

 "Freedom is not free" is engraved in on of the statues in the memorial.

The huge statues in the memorial weigh more than 1,000 pounds each.

The Korean war marked the beginning of the cold war.
                                                          
The Korean war memorial was created in 1986.
