Introduction
The Battle of Gettysburg started in 1863, on the 1st of July.
This was the biggest and deadliest battle of the Civil War. On the 2nd day the Confederate General, Robert E. Lee had 20,000 soldiers
standing along the seminary ridge which is a wooden area that was
parralleled to the Union's army. The Unions defenses were alongside
Culps Hill and Cemetary ridge. The Battle of Gettysburg lasted 3
days and had more than 40,000 casualties in the war.
