Introduction

Eleanor Roosevelt was born on October 11, 1884 in Manhattan, NY to  Anna and Elliot Roosevelt.  She was married to Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd president. After her husband died she was appointed as a U.S. delegate by Harry Truman, the 33rd president.
