Generl George Meade
Introduction
General Gerge Meade was a strong general in the army.
He was considered the victor of the Battle of Gettysburg. He was also
considered the turning point of the war. Only a few days before the
Battle of Gettysburg he was assigned the commander of the Army of the
Potomac. General George Meade was a wonderful commander, and after the
war he was in charge of many military places. Besides the war, Meade
held a very good fight, and he showed great leadership skills as a
commander. The only doubt about him being a commander was because he
set Lee's army free and let them escape.
