Eleanor Roosevelt was born in New York. She married Franklin D.
Roosevelt. Eleanor was a Civic leader, worked for welfare of Youth,
Black Americans, the poor, and Women. Eleanor Roosevelt accomplished a
lot in her life and helped many people.

Information about Eleanor
Eleanor was born October 11, 1884 in New York City. Her Parnets are
Elliott and Anna Hall Roosevelt. She also had two brothers. Both of her
parnets died when she was very young. She was educated by private
tutors intill she was 15. Eleanor then atteneded Allenwood in England.
Eleanor did not go to College. She then Married Franklin D. Roosevelt.
When he became president she persuded him to create a National Youth
Administration (NYA). Also she did work for the National Assocation for
advancment of colored people (NAACP). When Franklin died in 1945 she
became a delegate for United Nations General Assembly. In 1948 she was
drafted to the Universal Delceration of Human Rights which gave liberty
and equality to all people. She died of tuberculosis on November 7,
1962.
