Introduction
The started in 1907 and finished in 1990, the construction was interrupted breifly by WW1. The National Cathedral has served for mourn and prayer for the passing of our world leaders. It's an Epsicopal church and the seat of the Presiding Bishop.The National Cathedral is the official cathedral of St. Peter and Paul.

Intresting Facts
The National Cathedral is the 6th largest cathedral in the world. A sunday 40-minute service is held on Sundays with 50 to 75 people. Congress designed the cathedral as the National House of Prayer. The largest glass window is the know as the lunar window. It got it's name because part of the window is made from lunar rock.  There are many works of art in the cathedral including, over 200 stain glass windows and 288 angel statues. The cathedral al together cost around $65 million dollars.
