Battle of Gettysburg Day 3
Introduction
On July 3, 1863 the union troops began to re-attack the
Confederate troops. More than 3,155 people died, 14,329 were injured,
and 5,365 were missing. About 4,000 Confederate soldiers were captured.

Interesting Facts
- This is also called Picketts Charge
- This was the last day of the battle
- The Union troops began to attack the Confederate troops at 4:30 A.M
- At around 2:00 P.M the Union stopped firing to
make the Confederate soldiers think they were giving up but they kept
shooting and the Confederate soldiers started to run low on ammunition
- The Confederates had to jump a fence making them easier to be attacked by the union soldiers
- The Confederates came to a stone wall where they came t othe Union line at this point they would either win or lose
- The Union pulled through in the last minute and won the Battle of Gettysburg
