The Natural History Museum
Introduction
The Natural History Museum was opended by the Smithsonian Institution.
It is located on the National Mall. There are over 500 million exhibts
on display in the museum. It is open for 364 days a year and ther
admission is free.

Interesting Facts
There are over 11 different
sections in the nation history museum. Has one of the world's largest
science classrooms in the United States.There over 126 million
artifacts in the museum. The classical style architecture was designed
by Hornblower & Marshall.
In 2005 the Butterfly of Peace was open for display
for the first time in the U.S one of the largest gems in the world. The ocean hall was open to the
public in 2008 due to the biggest rennovation since its opening
in 1917 and includes over 700 artifacts and models of ocean
creatures. The hall is named after Roger Sant who donated 15 million
dollars to the hall, it also shows a model of a North Pacific Whale 45
Feet long.
The Korean hall shows many Korean traditions, it
shows the Korean infulence on Washington and whole United States.
It also shows the diversity of African people and what role they did to
help America grow. It also shows how some of the African American
helped to stop slavery in America.
