Introduction
Robert Francis Kennedy was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 20, 1925. He was born into a wealthy family. They were very big in politics. Joseph and Rose Kennedy had 9 different kids, one of them was the great John Fitzgerald Kennedy, our 35th president. Robert was a United States Senator. He was assassinated at the age of 42 in the ballroom of a hotel.

Interesting Facts
Robert F. Kennedy was a Senator in the House of Representatives and when his brother became president, he became the Attorney General is John's cabinet. He spent his college career at Harvard, but in the middle of it, he was drafted into WWII. He led American forces against Germany, Italy and Japan. His older brother, Joseph, died in that war. In 1946, he returned to Harvard where he played football. He attended University of Virginia Law School where he earned his law degree. He met his future wife, Ethel Skakel, there. He wished to run in the presidential election of 1968, but he was assassinated before he could. His political power mostly came from the young African-American people in the U.S. He fought very hard for their rights. The man who assassinated him never revealed why he did it. His name was Sirhan Sirhan and he was born in Palestine. There are many conspiracy theories out there, like blaming brain-washing as the motive of the murder, but nothing was ever proven.
