John Yarmuth Visits
Congressman John Yarmuth has begun a project called, “Holiday Wishes for the Homeless.” Ten elementary schools were asked to work together to make greeting cards. These cards will go to hundreds of men, women and children who will spend this season in shelters. The Coalition for the Homeless is also partnering on the project.
As stated in their release:
“At a time when feelings of doubt, hopelessness and isolation are easily amplified, these students are taking steps to ensure our most vulnerable citizens feel connected to our community through their goodwill and holiday cheer. “
