Prayers from the HeartATTENTION: Prayers from the Heart has temporially been discontinued. Please check back later for more information. We’ve been gathering monthly around special topics to pray with and for one another. Sometimes the topic hits us directly, sometimes indirectly through family or friends, and sometimes it’s just inspiring to pray for others in a group setting. Jesus tells us where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Our “Prayers from the Heart” will be informal and brief prayer services led by lay people, by us and for us. In his letter, James encourages us to pray with and for one another (James 5:14-16). We will have time to socialize after the prayer. We’ve probably learned from our own experiences that it can help to share our joys and our sorrows. The social provides an opportunity to meet others with similar concerns, to build small Christian communities, to find resources, or to have questions answered. Please join us.
