Mrs. Paulette Stinnett has matriculated all over Kentucky, from St. Raphael, Assumption, U of L, & Bellarmine in Louisville, to grade schools, high schools and colleges in Winchester, Owensboro, and Louisville, Kentucky. A day at St. Gabriel consists of Guidance classes, individual and group counseling fwith students, and conferences with parents and/or teachers. She offers a study skills workshop after school as needed. When asked, "Why counseling?" Mrs. Stinnett replies, "Because I love kids . . many kids need an adult friend . . I am their advocate. Though I have two sons, I consider the students at St. Gabriel my kids also--when they hurt, I hurt too." She is married, and she and her husband, C.D., have two St. Gabriel graduates in their family, Joel and Nick. She says "if" she had the time her hobbies would be sewing, baking, decorating, cross-stitching, drawing and reading. Mrs. Stinnett tries to live by the golden rule . . .Treat others the way you want to be treated. She reminds us that "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you always got." Stretch yourself!
