Reading

*St. Gabriel will have Book Bee teams next year.  If you are interested in joining the 6th grade team go to the school website for more information and the book lists.  You can get started on some of the reading this summer.*

Study Stack info:

Vocab words are on the Study Stack website.  We have gone over how to find the stacks in class, but directions are posted below.  The easiest way to find them is to search by the description.  Any stack I create will have a description that begins with "Scherr 5th grade."  Once you are on a page with one of my stacks you can scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and you will see "Created by scherr".  From there you can click on my last name and it will take you all of my stacks in case you need to study something else.  I know it sounds complicated, but this is the easiest way we have found!

Here are directions to help you with the initial access of a stack:

1.  Go to www.studystack.com

      2. Look in the box with categories and click on “Reading” (a sub-category in Language)

    3.  Click on “description” in the top right corner above the Reading stacks to sort by description.

    4. Scroll down and go to page 5 (stacks will be in alphabetical order by description)

5.  Scroll down until you see stacks that say “Scherr 5th grade…”

6.  Click on the stack you wish to study
