Biography:

Mrs. Lea Sweeny is a native of Kentucky. She attended Prestonia Elementary and Durrett High Schools in Louisville.   She received a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Bellarmine College.  She also received her Master's degree in Elementary Education.

Mrs. Sweeny is the proud Mom of  two young men, D.J., age 19, and Josh, age 16, and one cat, Cuddles, age 10.  She and her family are members of St. Edward's. .   Josh is a Junior at Trinity.  She will be helping with the cheerleaders at Saint Gabriel School.  She had coached 25 years before taking some time off.  Now, she is looking forward to helping out and going to watch the games and the cheerleaders.
