Homework Responsibilities

We are experiencing a great deal of forgotten notebooks, folders and homework at the end of the day. The students are given time to gather all books and write down homework each day. We actually do this together as a class and the students double check everything before they put their supplies in their backpacks.
Many of the students are leaving the same items at home. I encourage them to return everything to their backpacks in the evening before bedtime or as soon as they complete it. I do this to develop the responsibility level that is so important as they progress through school. Thanks so much for encouraging your child to be responsible and to care for their own belongings.
