Biography:

Mrs. Lisa Mattmiller was raised right here in Fern Creek. She attended Fern Creek and St. Raphael Elementary Schools and graduated from Mercy Academy High School in 1982.  She is active in the member of our parish and is the recipient of an 2001 Aegon Award for Touchphonics, a 2003 Aegon Award for Zaner Bloser Science Readers and a 2005 Aegon Award for materials for her Butterfly Unit. Mrs. Mattmiller also coaches Quick Recall for St. Gabriel.

Mrs. Mattmiller and her husband, David a 1980 Trinity graduate, and children Nick and Daniel,  are residents of Jeffersontown and members of St. Gabriel Parish. Nick is a junior at Trinity and Daniel is in seventh grade at St. Gabriel.  In addition, the Mattmiller household is home to Buddy, a ten year old border collie, one white rabbit and two parakeets. When not tending to family or school duties Mrs. Mattmiller can be found reading, doing yard work, caring for the family pets, or visiting Rough River Lake. She also loves St. Gabriel Lacrosse, U of L basketball,  animals, the outdoors and boating. !Go Rocks!! Go Cards!! Go Leopards!!

    I will be posting additional information to this website throughout the year, including homework assignments, important dates, reminders and newsletters.  I will be communicating through your child when important things have been put on the page.  I envision that this website will become a primary means of communication and a valuable resource for both you and your child!
