• Assistant Principal, 1999-present, St. Gabriel School

• 3rd Grade, 17 years, St. Gabriel School

• 2nd Grade, 5 years, St. Rita School

Biography:

Mrs. Kathy Stivers is a native of Indiana, where she attended pre-collegiate classes in Madison.  She has been very active in the parish and school over the years, coaching girls volleyball and having been a member of the Parish Council and Parish Building Committee. She currently sits on the School Board and PTSO Board.  Mrs. Stivers was awarded the Outstanding Religious Educator Award by the Archdiocese of Louisville in 1998-99.

Mrs. Stivers and her husband, Bernie, have one daughter, Melissa, who is a graduate of St. Gabriel School.  The family remains active parishioners today.  In her free time, Mrs. Stivers enjoys reading and weather permitting, gardening, not to mention following the latest victories of her favorite "Big Blue" team.
