Biography:

Mrs. Katie Bennett is locally born having attended Resurrection Grade School and Presentation Academy.She attended the University of Louisville for both her undergraduate and Masters degree.  She is the Geography Bee Coordinator for St. Gabriel and has won six different Aegon Grants. She is currently working on her Master Catechist Certification.

She is married to Jeff Bennett, and they have two children, Zachary ( Gr.8) and Annie ( Gr.4). The family members are all parishioners of St. Gabriel.  The entire family is active in Saint Gabriel activities and they all really enjoy being part of the St. Gabriel Community.  When extra time presents itself, Mrs. Bennett enjoys walking, listening to music, reading, and cheering on the Cards. Much of her spare time is spent cheering on her own children in sporting, and other activities. 

  HOMEWORK:

I will try to post assignments ( especially tests and quizzes) in advance as much as possible this year. If I am not at school my web page will not be updated until I return.

We will be starting our Life Skills class on Monday 11-24. This class will take the place of Religion until after Christmas. We will dicussing topics such as decision making, drugs, alcohol etc. I will be sending home these books on Monday night so that you can have an opportunity to look through them with your child. Please be sure it is returned to school on Tuesday. We will not have as many tests with this book. I normally only give 2, and also some written assignments. Please be sure your child reviews the material when test time approaches. Some information will be material he or she has already heard about, some may not. It is not set up like the Family Life program taught last year. The topics discussed will be situations your child may be experiencing now, or in the near future. Please let me know if you have further questions.
