Spanish - Divisibility Rules – Ask yourself
these questions: · 2 – Does the number end with a 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8? (Is the number even?) If it is, it is divisible by 2. · 3 – Can the sum of the digits be divided by 3? (Example – 2,367 (2+3+6+7=18)
18 ÷ 3 = 6 So, yes this number is divisible by 3. · 4 – Can the last 2 digits be divided by 4? (Example – 448 48 ÷ 4 = 12 – So yes 48
is divisible by 4) If the number ends
with 00 then divide out the entire number with 4. · 5 – Does the number end with a 0 or a 5? · 6 – Is the number divisible by both 2 and 3? · 9 – Same rule for three – Can the sum of the digits be divided by 9? · 10 – Does the number end with a 0?
