Divisibility Rules – Ask yourself these questions:

·       2 – Does the number end with a 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8?  (Is the number even?)  If it is, it is divisible by 2.

·       3 – Can the sum of the digits be divided by 3?  (Example – 2,367  (2+3+6+7=18)   18 ÷ 3 = 6 So, yes this number is divisible by 3.

·       4 – Can the last 2 digits be divided by 4?  (Example – 448 48 ÷ 4 = 12 – So yes 48 is divisible by 4)  If the number ends with 00 then divide out the entire number with 4.

·       5 – Does the number end with a 0 or a 5?

·       6 – Is the number divisible by both 2 and 3?

·       9 – Same rule for three – Can the sum of the digits be divided by 9?

·       10 – Does the number end with a 0?
