Biography:

Mrs. Cathy Balbach is a native Louisvillian having attended Holy Spirit Grade School and Sacred Heart Academy in her early years.  She is active in her home parish, St. Margaret Mary, and in the community here at Gabriel and the community at large.  She has served as the past president of Queens Daughters, as a member of the Archdiocesan Curriculum Committee for Art, and as a Eucharistic minister.

Mrs. Balbach and her husband, John, have three children, John Jr., age 23,  and Joanie, age 21, and Sarah, age 19, both of whom attend Murray State University.   When she has free time Mrs. Balbach enjoys art (go figure), sewing, decorating, working out at the YMCA, and anything to do with her children.  Her thoughts on teaching and education:
